Skyline Furniture Shantung Upholstered Headboard Parchment
I first got the headboard in parchment, the creamy white color, it was 14% off. However, it did not line up with my bed frame horizontally, and it left a big gap between the mattress and the bottom of the headboard (giving the fact that our mattress set is 18" instead of 21"). Also, part of the bottom part was concave in. I was not satisfied with the product, so I returned it and ordered another one in khaki (it is not the color of khaki pants, if you are wondering, the picture is pretty true to color), giving that I have ordered from Skyline before, and loved their items. The khaki product is not on any kind of sale, and I love it. It line up perfected with my mattress and only a tiny, unnoticeable space between my mattress. In addition, the bottom part was a smooth, perfectly straight line. The khaki color is more luxurious looking than the parchment, and it goes with everything. I recommend being careful about the sales and discounts!

This was a fantastic price for the same headboard sold other places for more. The "parchment" color is a nice cream color that blends well with off-white. I'm pretty picky about colors so I ordered swatches directly from Skyline (their website has contact info and they will send for free). It was very easy to put together and really dresses up the room in a fairly inexpensive way.
BalasHapusI agree with the other reviews- there is a gap between the base of the fabric part of the headboard and my mattress but it doesn't really bother me because my pillow shams hide it when the bed is made. When the bed is unmade, you will see that, however.

...and I found it on Amazon. It is beautifully made and has a nice sheen. I got the black which is a true black. It took some adjusting to get it on the bed frame and the legs were a little too tall for my bed, but with pillows, it doesn't show. It's simply gorgeous in my gray, black and white room. I couldn't be happier with it.
BalasHapusI searched high and low for the perfect headboard to give our older home an Old Hollywood feel. We had a king size bed with heavy wood headboard, and it just swallowed our small bedroom. This headboard is really beautifully made and exactly as pictured. It arrived so quickly and was very easy to assemble. And the price is great for the style and quality.

The only thing that bothers me is the legs the headboard is attached too... not that they are bad. They are just visible. I tried covering it up with my bedskirt... not too noticeable. Definitely recommend this product!

BalasHapusThis upholstered headboard was very well made and looks expensive. My daughter's decorating style is vintage modern (but not shabby chic) and a bit quirky and it fits right in. Since I ordered it I've seen this style a lot in magazines and on tv so I guess it's "in". I really love that it was made in America, too.
