Whelping pads

EZwhelp Washable Whelping Puppy Pad

EZwhelp Washable Whelping Puppy Pad

Buy these NOW!! I only wish I had gotten these sooner... I have a small dog, almost 15 years old, who has accidents and has lost some sight and hearing. For almost two years he has had accidents while waiting to go outside. Unfortunately, my wood floors and throw rugs have taken a beating from him. I cannot put him in a kennel at his age; he would not understand, as he has never been kenneled.
I took a chance on these and could not be more pleased. Without any prodding, Puddles (haha) went right to the pad to go potty. He goes to it any time we are not around to take him out.
What makes these so great, is that somehow, they absorb every drop, and no urine goes through to the floor (wood) or carpet! I have three of these and rotate them daily. They don't stain, or even really smell at all. They wash up well, and I hang them to dry.
If I had had these earlier, my wood floor would have been spared and also a few throw rugs. I highly recommend these pads if you have an old dog who is having some problems waiting to go outside. You won't be disappointed!

  1. I am trying to pad train her.I am keeping her in a large crate and the bottom is covered with puppy pads. She shreds the pads and I end up with white cotton everywhere. How can I stop her from doing this?

  2. Our 4 month-old puppy has been "housetrained" up until now on the wee wee pads. I know some people don't like them but regardless of some negative opinions, they have worked. Now that his shots are done, I want to start transitioning him from the pads to outside. The thing is, we're not home every 4 hours every day to let him out of a crate, and we don't have a private yard so we can't let him out without someone home so what do I do on days when I won't be able to come home from work and take him out? Should I leave a wee wee pad inside, and continue to train him outside or will this be too confusing for him? On top of this, he goes through phases where he chews up his wee wee pads to shreds and I'm so frustrated with them right now but it's the only place he knows to go and he never has an accident.
