I love my new sweeper

I've had the sweeper for about 6 years, and love using it.
- It's sturdy: Still in excellent shape even after such a long time, and although my son liked sitting on it when he was a toddler.
- It's easy to use: Much lighter to carry than a vacuum, fits in corners and under sofas that I can't really reach otherwise, and doesn't need a power outlet. The only caveat is that it needs to be emptied frequently, or the dust and dirt will start coming back out.
- Great performance: I use the sweeper mostly on carpets / rugs, especially in areas where my kids have played and left Legos, K'Nex and other small parts. The sweeper picks up quite a bit of dirt, as well as the toys, which are then very easy to remove. It picks up pine needles from hardwood floors, as well as dust bunnies and crumbs. I don't have pets, so I'm not sure how well it can deal with cat or dog hair.
- It's very silent - I originally bought this because our old vacuum was very loud, and I couldn't use it while the baby was sleeping, and he would start crying when he was awake and I turned it on. Now I can even listen to music while cleaning.

  2. I have hardwood floors with various area rugs and runners. This sweeper keeps me from having to drag out the vacuum daily.

  3. This sweeper works great for what I wanted it for. It picks up the cat fur and all the kibble around the cat bowls. It does however not work on floors; only rugs. Since my house is mainly rugs it is great for me. Also nice that it does not have to be plugged in and charged, therefore not using electricity. I love it.

  4. This works surprisingly well. Very light and easy to push. I got this for when I don't really need the vacuum, but just surface crumbs and what-not. Picked up cat litter from Pergo floor in one swipe and crumbs from both Pergo and carpet. How it will be over time, not sure, but seems to be very effective. Unfortunately it won't get into the corners. Some debris will come out of bottom if you hold sideways, keep level until you're over the trash can.

  5. I bought one of these years ago for my mother to use in her RV. She loved it because she couldn't store a vacuum and had very limited space in the RV. I have one and it does a great job on carpet and bare floors. I only use mine to clean the leaf debris off of the shop rug and the little astroturf rugs in front of the litter boxes. This thing is really great for picking up the litter off of the floor...either carpet or bare floor. Keep hair from building up on it's little brush and it will work like a charm for many, many years.

  6. Have had one of these sweepers for years and have been trying to find another. Found it and it works just as good as my original. I have had other brands that were more expensive but don't do half the job of this.

  7. OK...I remember rotary phones that were made of metal. Back then Mom had a carpet sweeper. And like everything else back then - it worked. This little baby looks and feels like a childs toy. B-U-T...boy does it really do the job. Take long smooth strokes and watch it pick up dog hair, tracked in dirt and grass clippings. Empty it often and don't try to muscle it and it really works. Easy to store as well I use it in a camp with industrial style carpet that does not have electric power.

  8. We have a boat that constantly gets little "crumbles" on the carpet and I have not been able to find an electric type vacuum that works well. I thought of this push type that my mother had when I was a child and it works great! No plugs and easy to empty. I just push it across the carpet and it sweeps it up. It is easy to store and a snap to clean. Not a new invention but it certainly does the job.

  9. This is a great little sweeper. I have a bad back and can't handle the weight of a vacuum, but thanks to this sweeper I can keep our carpets clean. It doesn't do as great on our hardwood floors, but a swifter is for that. It does just what I want it to do.
