I've had this set, (purchased elsewhere with only two chairs), for over 5 years starting when my grandson, who is currently seven, was two. Now, he and his six year old sister sit together and share quite comfortably. King David is rather rough with everything but has never punctured the table or seats. However, early on, the back of one of the chairs did come off at his constant pulling. It still works fine as a chair and HE has to use the one without the padded back.

I've come on searching for additional chairs which I am not finding as their cousin now visits me at the same time, so I need two more. Would love to find without buying new table since this one is in mint condition and the eldest will outgrow it soon. If you know where I can find them, please reply.

It's a reasonable price and a quality set that does not have to be pampered. Folds away quite flatly and wipes clean quickly. And the children love the colors and in fact claim their seats by color. You can't beat it.
