My vet recommended the Feliway spray and diffuser to use for my multiple cat house. I use them for a few reasons. When introducing a new animal to the family, it helps ease the process and prevent territory marking. I also use it when I will be away from home for the day to ease "separation anxiety." My cat's are such MAMA'S BOYS, hahaha! The spray has such a calming effect on my kitties. It helps in any "high anxiety" situation...such as having house guests, moving furniture around, vet visits, etc. I spray it approximately every other day on my cat's bedding, carpeting, furniture. I've never had a problem with it--NO staining the rugs, etc. When used in conjunction with the Feliway diffusers, the spray works even better. However, it IS more economical to purchase the spray since the diffusers only last one month. One can of spray lasts (FOR ME) several months.
