Primeway Smart Plug Multi Outlet

Primeway Smart Plug Multi Outlet

This is a very nice solution to the problem of having too little space for too many plugs. I use it in my kitchen to plug in 4 counter-top appliances. It keeps the cords from sticking out and lets me push the appliances much further back on the counter.

Looks like it is well made -- certainly better than I expected given the price. Stays in the outlet securely. Unlike other multi-outlets I've used, this has two full sets of metal prongs that go into the wall outlet. Usually there's only one set of progs, plus a plastic post. Two sets are more secure, plus there's a center screw that further holds everything in place. Unexpected nice touch.

My only quibble is that the front is textured plastic that, in a kitchen, is bound to catch some splatters. The texture makes it harder to clean than a smooth front. But, a very minor point.

Note that this is a slim design, and it will not work with transformer-type plugs (the devices that have the "wall worts" at the end of the plug). Regular 2 and 3 prong plugs fit just fine.

Highly recommend.

  1. These work great. Especially behind a bed or couch. I think I need one for every plus just because I like the look coming out from the sides instead of sticking out in front.

  2. Not much to say here. It truly is nice and compact and just what I needed so I can push my bed all the way against the wall rather than 4 inches from it. Mine has two sets of plugs that plug into a double outlet much like the picture indicates. Others saying it only uses one plug and has a plastic bit are either referring to an older design or a different product.

Oh, also it DOES come with a screw you can screw into the plate in the wall if you feel the need to. It seems to hold securely enough without it though.

  3. I just received 4 Smart Plug Multi-outlet adapters. Yes, the screw shown is not included, but one (6-32 x 1.5") can be picked up at a hardware store for a few cents. These are split-wired, with the left side connected to the lower outlet, and the right side connected to the upper outlet, so this maintains the balanced load.

  4. When it comes to being compact AND handy this space-saving 6-outlet plug can't be beat. We bought two for behind bookcases that fit snug to the wall but also hold items needing an electrical source. These plugs were perfect in size and function. A nice invention for our use.

  5. THESE HELP ME TO PUT MY FURNITURE CLOSER TO THE WALL AS THE PLUGS DON'T STICK OUT. I USE THESE EVERYWHERE IN MY HOME AND LOVE THEM.

  6. This Smart Plug was just what we needed to allow us to plug in our lamps and other devices into an outlet behind the sofa. Everything stays close to the wall so it is not in the way of the furniture.

  7. This item helps uncluter the wall around the house and keeps the furniture closer to the wall without jamming the cords.
