Sure Fit Quilted Loveseat Slipcover
We purchased the PetFusion Cat Scratcher Lounge about two weeks ago in anticipation of bringing home two newly adopted cats from a local animal shelter. The cats are females about four and six year old, had been found outside together, and were living in a cage at the shelter for several months. Our living room has sliding doors that overlook a forested area, and we put the scratcher lounge right there next to the window so that the cats will be able to lay in the light, see birds and insects, and so on. Immediately both cats took to it, each laying on it for long hours, scratching it, and stretching on it. One cat, in particular, tends to stay on it a lot, and we think she has claimed it as her own. Because they both love it, though, we will be ordering a second one soon.
The design is very long and low to the ground, and with the dark edges and the curvy shape, it has an artful look that is pretty nice in our living room even when it's not in use by a cat. Of course, it still does look like a functional piece of pet furniture, as it is getting good use by the cats' claws, and is starting to show a little bit of shredding, especially near the top of each curve. That are is where the cat's tend to scratch the most. We anticipate that it will last at least several months and then need to be flipped, when it will last even a few more months. Since this is our first one, we can't say for sure, though, how long it will last.
So the cats definitely lay on it a lot, and they scratch it a lot. They also poke their heads through the holes sometimes, but at 11 and 13 pounds they don't fully crawl through the holes--although I did see the younger, smaller cat do so once. We've even seen both cats laying on it together, end-to-end, and grooming each other.
Finally, I'd like to mention the size that has been discussed by several other reviewers. I would like to comment about some reviews that say that the item is not wide enough. I agree that the item is not extremely wide, and when in use, the cat's legs or tail tend to dangle off the lounge. But I do not think this is a problem for the cats, and that they seem to even prefer this. We've also noticed our cats hanging over a ledge by our stairway in this way, and I think many cats in the wild would lay this way over a tree branch, for example. Our cats have multiple other options of where to lay including on a round plush cat bed, a covered bed, a coffee table, chair cushions, the couch, and the carpet; but they seem to prefer this thing over the rest. The only time it does seem a little narrow is when we pet a cat while it is on the lounge; if the cat gets excited and starts to squirm around too quickly, it has to grab the side to brace itself so as not to slip off. But this is rare, and not a problem since our cats have claws--it might be a problem, though, if a cat had no claws.
The item arrived in a timely manner, was packaged well, the cats absolutely love it, and it looks nice in our living room. So it's definitely a five star for us!
arrived on time in new condition and i even appreciated the packaging. they do fit nicely...only challenge is keeping them up but have tucked parts in for better maintenance
BalasHapusIf you have a jumping dog they tend to pull off. They are nice looking and a great alternative to trying to tuck and stretch other kinds of covers.

BalasHapusI read some reviews about this product and there were some who shared the fact that they had to 'fix' it a lot. Yes, I have to do that as well, however I don't mind it since this Pet Cover protects my furniture not only from my pets but from everyday dust....It's great!
BalasHapusI ordered this to go over a love seat we now have in the family room where there is a recliner with the same brand and color of a slip color. I was leery that since it wasn't from the same store or bought during the same year that the lot may not match. But it did and I'm very pleased with this product. It definitely comes as is advertised and is of good quality. I forgot to mention that I'd had the recliner slipcover for a couple of years and have washed it repeatedly and they look as if they're both new.
BalasHapusI bought two of these for a sectional. The ends of the furniture without the arms are nicely covered by what would normally cover the second arm. I am delighted with both the color and the quality of these throws. I put them to immediate use --- and so did one of the cats! They were money well spent!
BalasHapusWe needed covers for the sofas and loveseats in our home that looked neat and clean, were durable, and would launder well. Having seen the slipcovers in catalogs, we found and purchased them from a local retailer and are so pleased we did. Our two very frisky dogs like them, too, and rough house together atop them, jumping on and off many times a day. Despite their daily batterings, the covers straighten and tuck easily and seem to be soil resistant. They sure fill the bill at our house!
BalasHapusWe have 3 cats and our newest rescue is a 5-year old domestic long-haired grey cat. He decided that his ideal spot was our white cotton duck covered living-room sofa. After getting his hair of with a sponge gizmo, we covered the sofa with this throw in the "natural" cover. It was decidedly less expensive than a quote we had for washable slipcovers of $2,700 and the color blends in perfectly with our decor. I also ordered the loves seat and chair covers. The fabric is soft, the size was perfect and covered the entire back of the sofa, arms and front skirt. Since it is the same fabric that I bought for another protector for an upholstered bench, I know that it washes and dries perfectly. I am very pleased with the color and quality of this cover.
BalasHapusI'm not always happy with Surefit furniture cover products, but this quilted shaped throw does just what it's supposed to do. It covers the area of a loveseat that my dog loves to sleep on so that her claws don't snag the upholstery. It's made to tuck in just a bit, but it stays in place very well. I'm satisfied with it.
