Hospitology Defense System Spring Encasement
We own a beach house that we rent during the summer. The rental agent advised us to get bed bug proof mattress encasements to protect against bed bugs brought in by renters that had stayed in a motel on the way to their vacation and picked up bed bugs in their luggage. They advised that a bed bug infestion could cost us three or more weeks of lost rentals and the cost of treatment. Since this would mean thousands of lost dollars and unhappy renters, we decided to buy matress bud bug encasements for all 9 beds plus encasements for the box springs and pillows. After some research and looking at a local source, we decided on the Sleep Defense System.
I was very pleased with the quality of the product. The encasements were made from a strong warp knit polyester fabric. the zipper system was very well constructed. While two people were needed, we had no problem installing the encasements.
We also opted for additional chemical treatment to control bed bugs.
While we spent considerable, it was good insurance against a possible large loss of income.
Bought this to protect my new mattress and because I was having some itchy reaction to whatever chemicals are being used in mattresses these days. Very easy install and all my itchy is gone. Mattresses are completly sealed and I love this product!!

I always want to buy products on amazon based on the reviews of others. I have purchased this one along with the Mattress encasement. Both these products are really amazing especially for those who do not want the bugs to enter into ur mattress or box spring. This product fully covers the entire box spring and the zip lock system is an excellent idea to keep the bugs from entering. The installation of the encasement is very easy and smooth. This product is completely worth its cost.

BalasHapusWe bought this problem because we had a small bedbug infestation. It comes with two twin size covers to accommodate a split king box spring. They were slightly larger than our box spring halves but still fit well enough to use. Along with a mattress pad, our bug problem has been nearly eliminated. I would recommend this item.
BalasHapusThis product is a good value; Hospitology provided excellent service and a smooth transaction. One thing to note, the waterproof version of the mattress covers seems much stouter than the non-waterproof. However, both seem more than adequate... Also, I noticed a slight yellow hue which the representative from Hospitoligy assured me was fire proofing and would no longer be yellow after its first wash. There were no odd odors one might expect from a fireproofing treatment. The Zippers also seem very tight; it actually took some time to get the air out of the cover once I had zipped it on all the way... Hospitoligy also includes sticky backed felt pads to use on the sharp edges of a bed frame to protect the cover from potential ripping.
BalasHapusI bought this because we moved into a new apartment, and shortly after moving in, I began having bites all over my feet, ankles, and around my neck and face. The apartment had bed bugs! I couldn't sleep for fear of getting bitten. I even took overnight shifts at work to avoid waking up with bites. It was a total nightmare. We used bombs and sprays, but they didn't seem to help. I have had the sleep defense mattress cover and box spring encasement on my bed for two weeks now, and so far there have been no bites. Before I got them, I was getting bitten every night. Now, I am able to sleep peacefully.
BalasHapusThese are a life saver for my box springs where the bugs stay until nighttime. My bed is just past its year mark and I wasn't going to throw it away without trying to save my investment first. I tried other covers ones I brought from Wal-Mart and Target, both tore and didn't keep the bugs away and torn even more when I washed them to return them for my refund. That's when I knew I had to try something else, I bought this for my box springs and Sleeptite cover for my mattress. Both work great I haven't woke up hot or itchy since, and I love the fact they cost less than the ones at Wal-Mart and target and actually work!!
BalasHapusThis is my first review ever, but I feel compelled to share this with people. For months I was plagued by sleepless nights because I'd wake up at 3AM, itching like crazy. I consulted with doctors, exterminators, the internet, and everyone under the sun to determine if I had bed bugs, but nobody could find any evidence of them. As a last-ditch effort before I simply gave over to never being able to sleep again, I tried this and the mattress encasement. I cannot stress enough that this has brought sleep back into my life. I still don't know what was wrong, but I know that since these went on my box spring and my mattress, I haven't had a single bite or itch during the night. Thank you, Sleep Defense System.
